Common applications include trace (ppm) measurements in natural gas, and nitrogen blanketing and measurements in gas production industries, including challenging trace (ppb) measurements in petrochemical and cylinder-filling applications with hydrocarbon background gases. Fast-responding on-site measurements typical of combustion and metallurgical processes can be performed using tunable laser diode (TDLAS) analysers.
