With the introduction of the latest Adaptive Infrared (IR) Amplifier technology, the FIREEYE BurnerLogix system from HMA INSTRUMENTATION becomes one with the burner, no matter which fuel is being burned. Built-in techniques and algorithms allow the FIREYE BurnerLogix to ‘learn’ the characteristics of the fuel being burned, and to set its internal thresholds to optimise detection under all conditions. When firing conditions change for the worse, the Adaptive IR system by shutting the burner down safely.

The FIREYE BurnerLogix has a footprint that is almost 50% smaller than previous offerings. Keypad-selectable parameters mean that most application requirements are solved easily with one programmer module, resulting in a reduced inventory of spare parts. Features such as ‘revert to pilot’ can increase a burner’s turndown capability. The new pigtail wiring base saves time and labour for OEMs, and allows for quick and easy upgrading of existing installations.
