The Valveco Splitter Box Controllers from HMA Flow & Industrial feature a fully-enclosed and permanently-lubricated operating mechanism that eliminates binding failures common with linear type pneumatic cylinders. The pneumatic piston design with PTFE wiper running in a smooth-bore glass filament wound tube allows for continual short span modulation without undue bore or piston wear. Stroke can be adjusted on site from 40° to 60°.

A Scotch yoke actuator design gives maximum torque at full tilt, and is perfectly application-matched (designed and built in Australia). A strong and robust design is forgiving of the harshest of environments, including some tolerance of poor instrument air quality. The positioner mounting is heavy-duty for rugged longevity.

Calibration is quick and simple, with non-interactive zero and span adjustment. Corrosion-resistance is assured with mechanism housing and end-caps in baked enamel coated ductile iron, fibreglass positioner and cylinder, and all stainless steel fasteners.
