TECO Open Drip Proof Squirrel Cage Induction Motors from HMA Flow & Industrial are designed, manufactured, and tested to meet or exceed latest BS/AS and other international standards. The motors are suitable for all general applications where the use of open machines is acceptable. TECO’s unique design and versatile engineering background makes TECO motors longer-running and less costly. The frames are high-grade cast-iron frame and end-bracket distortion free and rigid alignment. The bearings are pre-packed or vacuum de-gassed steel bearings that allow for extra overhung load capacities and longer bearing life. A unique designed flinger and bearing cap protects bearings against dust and moisture. The rotor assembly is dynamically-balanced, pressure-cast aluminium. The stator is a polyester film/DMD non-hydroscopic insulation system that meets or exceeds NEMA and IEEE standards for maximum protection against heat, corrosion, abrasion and moisture, with integrally-cast fans.
