‘Smart Head’ Technology now IECex Certified
HMA-POGC are proud to announce that Conspec’s new ‘Smart Head’ digital real time gas detection system for underground mines has now been certified. IECex issued the certificate for the new monitors and controllers in June, with the detection head being certified last year. The certification mean systems can now be installed and the controllers and monitors are compatible with existing analog systems.
‘Smart Head’ Features
The Conspec ‘Smart Head’ real time gas detection system allows underground mines to move into the 21st Century and includes the following features:
– Complete system solution.
– Up to 8 detection heads per controller.
– Predictive calibration / maintenance.
-Detection of CO, CO2, CH4, O2, NO2, SO2, Humidity, Barometric pressure, Differential pressure & Air flow.
Source signal digitisation for reduced noise interference and arbitrary bit errors.
