HMA – POGC is supplying IECEx certified physical property analysers from Icon Scientific to an offshore platform application in Western Australia and an on-shore gas production facility in New Zealand.
The Icon Scientific on-line vapour pressure analyser uses piston expansion based technology in a similar way to the unit that has been adopted as the industry standard for laboratory vapour pressure measurement.
Accurate correlation between laboratory and process measurements is ensured which has traditionally been a challenge due to vapour pressure being measured by different technologies.
The Icon Scientific Vapour pressure analyser is IECEx Ex d certified, has an innovative 17 touch screen providing a modern user friendly user interface and unlike many competitive vapour pressure analysers, it works with sample temperatures up to 60°C without the need for an external chiller.
