The C Series Hydrogen Generator is a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) water electrolysis system packaged for easy onsite installation and remote operation. Configured with one, two, or three PEM stacks, the C Series Hydrogen Generator is designed to deliver 10, 20, or 30Nm3/Hr (21.6, 43.3, or 65 kg/day respectively). The C Series Hydrogen Generator is configured at the factory per customer requirements to operate in two configurations of Tank Filling or Load Following operations.
In a Tank Filling configuration, the generator monitors an external hydrogen storage tank. When the pressure in the storage tank declines below a pre-set threshold, the C Series unit produces hydrogen until the pressure is above a second pre-set threshold.
In a Load Following configuration, the generator monitors customer hydrogen demand and automatically adjusts hydrogen generation rate to match the customers process. In this configuration, the generator can produce hydrogen between 0 and 100% of rated flow rate.
The C Series Hydrogen Generator is designed to operate in a non-classified space. The generator can be configured at the factory according to customer environmental needs to operate in an indoor or outdoor environment. CONTACT US for more information on Proton products.
Founded in 1996 by a small group of hydrogen and renewable energy experts who had a vision: To create a better way to deliver hydrogen, efficiently and conveniently, on-site and on-demand.
In 1998, Proton Onsite shipped its first HOGEN® hydrogen generator to NASA. Using electricity to split water into its component elements hydrogen and oxygen the company has grown by refining the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysis technology to build hydrogen generation systems that are meeting today’s commercial requirements in many industries and applications.
