Screens are powered by dustproof and weatherproof electric out-of-balance INVICTA vibrators, fitted with large roller bearings and totally enclosed, to provide trouble-free drive for intermittent and continuously rated duties.

The direction of material throw on rotary action screens is such that if the screen was horizontal, the material would feed in from each end towards the middle. Hence these screens from HMA Materials Handling must be declined in order for gravity to assist the flow of material at the feed-off end.

It is recommended that these screens from HMA Materials Handling are installed at a 20° decline, although declines down to 10° are acceptable if necessary. Angles less than 20° reduce the total output of the screen. Vibrator rotation can be in either direction, that is flow or counter-flow. Flow gives a greater output than counter-flow, but counter-flow gives greater screening efficiency.”
