Description

LPS from BS&B and HMA INSTRUMENTATION is a low-pressure reverse buckling rupture disk designed for gas and liquid service, suitable for pressures of 5 Psi (0.35 Barg) upwards. The LPS disk features a tooth ring on the atmospheric side to assist with opening during an overpressure event. The tooth ring has an in-built hinge in order to control fragmentation.

Features of the LPS disks from HMA INSTRUMENTATION are a solid-metal design, a low burst pressure, designed for gas, liquid or two-phase service, as well as for non-fragmentation, and vacuum/back pressure resistant. The high operating ratio equates to 90% of the minimum burst pressure, with sizes from 25 mm to 200 mm being available.
