The Magnetic Float Level Transmitter from HMA INSTRUMENTATION serves as a readings recorder for the electrical, continuous remote indication of filling level. The operation of the measuring device is based on the float principle. The magnetic field, contained in the spherical or cylindrical float, triggers reed contacts through the wall of a guide tube, which uninterruptedly picks up the measuring voltage given at a resistance measuring chain.

The measuring voltage is proportional to the height of the filling level (a three-wire potentiometer circuit). The size of the reed contacts is made up in different accuracies. In connection with a control unit, the resistance value can be converted into a standardised analogue value. These Magnetic Float Level Transmitters from HMA INSTRUMENTATION are meant exclusively for monitoring the filling level of liquid media. They can be installed into vessels and tanks that meet the requisite technical requirements, namely designed according to the operating parameters.
