The Asahi Type 14 Diaphragm Valves from HMA Flow & Industrial uses a new rubber material with lower compressive strain for the diaphragm and cushion in particular, resulting in optimum sealing performance. Dynamic CAE analysis ensures even pressure distribution. This design allows the hand wheel torque to be reduced, and to maintain shut-off at low torque.

A bayonet mechanism between the diaphragm and the compressor allows for easy replacement of the diaphragm itself. Piping is supported by the new bottom stand with an insert hole. The valve is also provided with a flange stand for added installation safety. A colour indicator clearly shows whether the valve is fully open or closed.
