SMART Cable Bolt
Description
The SMART Cable Bolt combines the durability of a cable bolt with the sensory capabilities of a borehole extensometer. The Cable Bolt optimise their ground support creating cost effective excavations at greater depths, while ensuring safety of personnel. Matching any 7 strand cable configuration, including plain strand , Garford bulb, bulge cable and others. With a length up to 30m the SMART Cable Bolt the output of the instrument corresponds to the cable stretch at each of the 6 anchor locations, plotted against time to indicate how the cable is stretching in response to ground movement. The SMART Cable Bolt can be read using a bespoke battery powered wireless acquisition system, SMART Log datalogger, manual hand held readout up to a fully remote telemetry logging system.
