Excavator Hi-rail Conversions

We are able to offer conversion for a wide range of excavators in both tracked and rubber-tyred versions. We are able to work on all leading brands of equipment including:

• Caterpillar
• Komatsu
• Hitachi
• Hyundai
• Kubota

Equipment can be supplied and fitted for existing excavators, or we can undertake the full management of the project from excavator purchase all the way through to on-rail certification. Designs are undertaken in-house by our team experienced engineers under the guidance of our registered professional engineer staff. All work is undertaken to the required Australian standards, including AS7502, and to our accredited ISO 9001 quality requirements. All excavators are tested before delivery, including:

• Twist
• Braking (dynamic and static)
• Overturning
• Function

Compliance plans and certification confirming suitability for use on rail networks can be provided.

Optional equipment includes:

• Supply of attachments such as buckets, undercutters, grabs and tampers
• Load limiters
• Rail clamps
• Slew locks
