The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 Marine Sewage System from HMA INSTRUMENTATION provides effective treatment of black and grey water through a certified process. It offers a unique approach to wastewater treatment on smaller vessel, workboat, and yacht applications. The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 features a bulkhead mounting arrangement, a first of its kind, that provides safe and effective treatment of wastewater onboard any vessel. The system results in a discharge effluent quality well below MEPC.159(55) requirements.
The compact MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 system from HMA INSTRUMENTATION uses a proprietary, forced oxidation electrolytic disinfection technology. The system eliminates storage, handling, and purchasing of hazardous chemicals normally required with other treatment technologies.
The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 system from HMA INSTRUMENTATION is an economical and simple treatment solution to integrate into a vessel since, it utilizes that vessel’s installed sewage and seawater pumps and in-place collection/holding tanks. The treatment system interfaces seamlessly via simple, low-voltage control circuits.
Standard systems can accommodate treatment capacities of up to 8 176 litres of human wastewater per day. Multiple units can be combined to treat larger flow-rate capacities. The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 system from HMA INSTRUMENTATION has received Bureau Veritas certification for IMO Resolution MEPC.159(55).
The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 Marine Sanitation Devices from HMA INSTRUMENTATION offer a fresh approach to sewage treatment in the vessel, workboat, and yacht markets, while resulting in a wastewater effluent quality well below the new MEPC.159(55) requirements. The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 units from HMA INSTRUMENTATION incorporate the same electrolytic treatment benefits of any other OMNIPURE unit, with the added advantages of less maintenance, and a small, compact size to fit vessels in the target markets. Systems can accommodate treatment capacities up to 75 persons (black water) and up to 27 persons (black and grey). The largest unit treats a peak flow of 8 176 litres of human wastewater a day.
The small, lightweight, and skid-mounted configuration of the MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 system from HMA INSTRUMENTATION fits easily into the confined spaces found on many of today’s oceangoing vessels. A local control panel houses all electronics for system operation. The system is operated in automatic mode, with minimal operator interface. The system interfaces with a ship’s sewage transfer pump(s) and seawater supply pump to determine sewage treatment demand onboard the vessel before initialising and beginning processing.
This unit can be supplied with an integral seawater pump for added convenience on vessels that may not have a pressurised seawater line. A flooded pump suction is required. No additional pump or air powered vent system is required. An optional sewage collection and macerator skid system is available for vessels that do not have macerated toilets.
