The simple design philosophy underpinning the Sentinel LNG from HMA INSTRUMENTATION is based on a reliable flow meter to overcome the accuracy limitation of LNG tank level measurement. This ultrasonic flowmeter features a fully-welded construction, with no moving parts. The acoustic transducers are placed outside the cryogenic liquid to avoid any long-term degradation due to temperature. The full-bore design means that the pressure drop over the meter is simply equal to a section of pipe with the same length.

The Sentinel LNG from HMA INSTRUMENTATION uses advanced digital signal processing and improved algorithms to allow the meter to measure flow with an exceptional response speed. It packs significant power in a simple package, available with several standard output options. The customer wiring is contained in a separate location for safety. It can be mounted on the flowcell section, or can be mounted up to 15 m away. However, full access to cable connections is possible even when directly wall mounted.
