Inpex floating production, storage and offloading facility (FPSO) project named ‘Ichthys Venturer’ finally departs from  Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard in Korea.

The 336 metre-long ship-shaped vessel will be used for condensate dewatering, stabilisation, storage and export.

The vessel is on its way to Bladin Point in Australian waters and will be connected to Darwin via a 890 kilometre gas export pipeline

It will hold more than one million barrels of condensate and permanently moored for the life of the project.
